More than 300 people attended the South Wisconsin District (SWD) 2016 Passionate Believers Conference on January 30 at Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church and School in Hartland, Wisc.
Various sessions were offered throughout the day under the conference theme, “Caring for the Church, Caring for the Church Worker.” SWD Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) Vice President Diana Raasch hosted a small group session, ‘Ask the Experts.’ Attendees were able to glean valuable tips from a panel of finance and tax specialists.
“Participants were given the opportunity to ask questions during the session and learned estate planning best practices,” said Raasch. The experts included: Patrick McCabe, a Financial Planner and member of First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, Wisc.; Wayne Pipkorn, an EZ/Tax Accountant and EA which is the highest credential the IRS awards; and E. John Raasch, an Estate Attorney
In addition to serving as a district LCEF vice president, Diana Raasch also serves as the SWD Stewardship Executive and is a Christian Gift Planner.
