Getting Kids Involved with K.I.D.S. Stamps

Red Corder has been running an LCEF K.I.D.S. Stamp Program at Elm Grove Lutheran Church and School in Elm Grove, Wisc. for many years. He is an 'expert' when it comes to creative ways to get the children involved AND teach them about sharing, saving, and spending money.

One year, Red had the children draw pictures of what their K.I.D.S. stamp savings could be used for. The children drew pictures of church buildings and schools. After a vote, the winning student received a full booklet of stamps . . . a $25 investment! . . . to be added to their LCEF account.

Tom Alles recently joined Red in selling the KIDS stamps on Fridays at the school. Visit Elm Grove Lutheran, and they'll greet you at the front door! Lutheran Church Extension Fund is blessed by the cheerful service of its many volunteers across the nation. Red and Tom are a great example of how we can work together to help expand ministry and lift up others.
