Even though the temps dipped below zero Monday night, Dec. 1, 2014, students and parents warmed up quickly. They rang in the Advent season with joy and anticipation at St. Paul Lutheran School's Christmas Carnival Night in Bonduel, Wisc.
The evening was a reschedule due to poor weather the week prior however attendance by school families was fantastic. Following a brief Parent Teacher League meeting, Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) staff, Maria Hendrickson, presented the Young Investors (Y.I.) Club. LCEF also sponsored the evening’s snacks. “It was a delight to see Santa sharing Jesus’ miraculous story with the students and witnessing their joy in this Holy Season,” said Hendrickson.
Where saving money is fun... and helps others learn about Jesus
The Y.I. Club offers young people (ages birth to 18) the unique opportunity to invest in Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) ministries through LCEF. It's important to teach children to give thanks for God's many blessings and use those blessings wisely to serve Him. Learning to understand the value of sharing, saving and spending money through the Y.I. Club is a good place to start.
When you help your child save for the future through the LCEF Young Investors (Y.I.) Club, those dollars can also help someone else learn about Jesus. Through the Y.I. Club activities, newsletters and web pages, your child can learn valuable stewardship concepts while empowering ministry through LCEF.St. Paul’s facility is funded by LCEF.
