Congratulations to Zion Lutheran School of Wayside in Greenleaf, Wisconsin! Zion is the top Y.I. Stamp program in the North Wisconsin District this month with the most Y.I. StewardAccounts®. These investments by young people ages birth to 18 support ministry through LCEF.
Y.I. Stamp Coordinator and media instructor Kim Miller has been a dedicated voice for Y.I. Stamps at Zion for almost two years. Zion Lutheran School has a history of supporting church extension and teaching students how to invest for future needs. Miller and fellow Zion parent, Tammy Otto, offered K.I.D.S. stamps at the school prior to the Y.I. Club kickoff in September 2013. Principal Ron Schroeder has also been very supportive of providing students the opportunity to participate in the stamp program over the years.
NWD LCEF sponsored ice cream sundaes for families and staff at Zion’s Parent Teacher League Open House last fall. LCEF staff also presented the Y.I. Stamp Club to parents, faculty and students that evening. If your church or school would like to start a Y.I. Stamp program, contact Maria.Hendrickson@lcef.org.
