Pastors Conference in Manitowoc

More than 200 pastors gathered for the South Wisconsin District (SWD) spring pastors conference on April 20-22, 2015 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. “Renewal in the Pastoral Office” was the conference theme. Speakers were Dr. Hal Senkbeil and Dr. Beverly Yahnke from DOXOLOGY – the Lutheran Center for Spiritual Care and Counseling. They presented on the need of pastoral renewal for those entrusted with Word and Sacrament ministry. 


SWD Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) Vice President Diana Raasch presented gifts to the winners of the online LCEF drawing at the conference. See photo left of the LCEF Drawing Winners (left to right): Rev. David Flegel, Christ Memorial, Milwaukee won the LCEF battery charger for mobile phones, tablets, and e-readers; Rev. Don Hougard, Benediction, Milwaukee brought home an Amazon Gift Card; and Rev. Peter Peitsch, Grace‐Elkhardt Lake won an LCEF wine cooler and bottle of wine.
