Pastors in the Missouri District Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod gathered at Tan-Tar-A Resort, Osage Beach, Missouri, this fall for sessions and Bible studies based upon preaching the Word based on 2 Timothy 4:2.
The pastors conference opened with worship officiated by Rev. Dr. David Schmitt on Sunday evening, September 30, 2018, followed by an ice cream social hosted by Lutheran Church Extension Fund at Christ the King Lutheran Church of Lake Ozark. LCEF staff enjoyed serving and supporting the pastors in the district throughout the conference.
Casey Carlson, LCEF District Vice President – Missouri led a morning run for attendees. Carlson leads runs and Leah Sieveking leads morning walks at district events in support of the district’s ‘Healthy Servants’ initiative.
Rev. Joe Rodriguez, St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Liberty, Missouri, was the recipient of the LCEF $100 Gift Card Giveaway at the conference. LCEF had resources available throughout the conference on ministry loans, investments and support services. Carlson announced LCEF’s new 40-month note investment opportunity which was released on October 1, 2018 and will be available for a limited time. The conference closed with worship officiated by Rev.
