Garrett and Wyatt’s Stories
Garrett and Wyatt’s extended family are LCEF investors including parents, Timothy and Elizabeth Anklam, and grandparents, Charles and Carol Korn, members of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
Wyatt is attending the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. In his letter of recommendation for Wyatt, Rev. Gary Schultz wrote, “I have known Wyatt from his birth, I baptized him and his twin brother, Garrett, together at Trinity Lutheran Church, and that was only the beginning of Wyatt’s great journey.
There were the visitations at the children’s hospital in Milwaukee during his head surgery. Watching his spiritual and educational growth all (K-8) years at Trinity Lutheran School…. Wyatt loves to express his love for the Lord through music, and you can see this when he plays the drums during our services in Trinity’s Spiritual Life Center.
Wyatt loves his Lord, his family and the many people he touches. He has a servant heart that is always leading him to help in anyway.”
Garrett is attending Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon. In his letter of recommendation for Garrett, Director of Christian Education Rick Stengl wrote, “Garrett was able to make a huge difference in the lives of people through his meaningful work [via a servant event in the Appalachians.] As a result, he left with a deep connection to his Savior’s servant sacrifice for him personally and [was] empowered to be Christ’s hands and feet on earth.”
