Murdock LCEF Award Winner!

The national LCEF volunteer award for outstanding service to the Church and ministry of the Lutheran Church Extension Fund is the Fred E. Lietz Individual Ministry Award. Only three Minnesota South District LCEF volunteers have won this award in the history of LCEF. Congratulations to our 2012 winner Dr. Thomas Murdock of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Roseville, Minn.! Tom is pictured with his wife Dianne at the award banquet in Orlando. Tom was very SURPRISED by this honor; it was announced at the LCEF Fall Leadership Conference award banquet Friday, Nov. 16. LCEF is so blessed by Tom's faithfulness to his Lord and Savior and by his dedicated volunteer service to the LCEF ministry. He has served for more than THIRTY years as King of Kings Congregation Representative, nearly ten years as King of Kings Lutheran School K.I.D.S. Coordinator (watch this two minute video featuring Tom and the school K.I.D.S. Stamp program) and more recently as the north east metro LCEF Area Representative.
