Emily Barz (center) received her 2013 $1,000 Iowa District East (IDE) LCEF Scholarship at her home congregation on Sunday, January 5, 2014. A member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Dubuque, Iowa and a senior at Concordia University - Nebraska in Seward, Barz is pursuing a Lutheran teaching degree.
